Train to Join our Team

The Migrant Advocacy Project is a 12 week training programme - on the job and in the classroom - with starting points throughout the year.  Through this you will gain valuable skills in giving information, advice and guidance within the community on a variety of topics including: health, welfare, housing, debt and signposting to other agencies or services.   


What will you gain from this?

  • Immediate opportunity to gain experience and supervision in the field

  • Support to gain the NOCN Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification

  • Excellent opportunity to enhance your CV with experience in giving advice and guidance/ casework/ support work

  • Taught sessions will be held in Kingston on Fridays*.

Your commitment

  • to complete the course,

  • to gain the qualification  

  • to volunteer as an advisor for four hours every two weeks.
