The Blue Hut Community Fridge

Please note we moved from Brighton Road, Surbiton to the Blue Hut at Kingston Road Recreation Ground. We've adapted our name and opening hours since September 2024!

Locations

Our main Community Fridge is located at the Blue Hut inside Kingston Road Recreation Ground next door to the Two Kings Boxing Club and near the tennis courts.

We’d love you to come to see us and collect food. Bring a carrier bag with you (ideally a reusable bag) and one of our volunteers will welcome you to select some items that you would like.

The Blue Hut is closed on Wednesdays when it undergoes a weekly deep clean but operates that day out of Kingston Quaker Centre. On Thursdays, we provide food at Kingsnympton Community Centre, Kingston Hill. Both outreach events are accompanied by community lunches.

Fresh food and ambient goods are available at Surbiton Community Fridge and are free to take as they have been given to us freely by our contributing donors.

We belong to the Neighbourly.com food brokering system as well as the Co-op Community Fridge Network.
